Pulled Pork in Brine

Ingredients
  

  • 1 portion pork in brine Pol-O-Bic approx. 400 g
  • 450 ml water You can also replace the water by a beer of your choice (lager, stout or bitter) For a classic flavour, use only water.
  • 250 ml tropical style fruit juice (e.g.: mango, orange, pineapple)
  • 1/2 tsp. mixed spices (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Crock pots/Slow Cookers
    Thoroughly rinse pork portion with cold water to remove excess brine. Place in pot, add liquid and spices. The meat has to be immersed to at least ≤. Cook for at least 6 hours on low heat setting. Cool for 20 minutes and pull pork with a fork.
  • Conventional Oven
    Thoroughly rinse pork portion with cold water to remove excess brine. In a small roasting pan or ovenproof dish, place pork and cover entirely with liquid. Cook for three hours at 275 F. Cool for 20 minutes and pull pork with a fork. Note: This recipe is not only delicious as is, accompanied with new potatoes and green beans, but it also allows you to create dozens of different meals and recipes, quick and easy to make, perfect for lunches and quick meals! So be sure to always keep one in the fridge!
